Cardiovascular diseases are one of the major causes of death in the world. Some of them are coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, heart attacks, and stroke. Some of these diseases might occur due to genetic reasons and other impairments in the body. Heart attacks and strokes occur primarily because of blockages that cause complications in blood flow from the heart to the brain. It happens due to fat deposition in the lining of the vessels. It is a group of diseases that occur in the heart and blood vessels.

Sometimes there could be bleeding from the blood vessels or blood clots. It is essential to identify them early so that you can manage them before the condition gets worse with proper counselling and medication.

 

The socio-economic aspect has an underlying influence cardiovascular diseases in many ways. Urbanization, poverty, and stress are some reasons that can lead a person towards a cardiovascular ailment. Among the many causes of cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks and strokes mainly occur due to behavioural risk factors. Unhealthy eating habits, lack of physical exercise, and taking tobacco or alcohol may cause a stroke or heart attack. Usually, you will not be able to notice any apparent symptoms of these diseases in the blood vessel. A heart attack or stroke could be one of the first signs of cardiovascular disease. You might experience pain or discomfort in your upper body, including your abdomen, arms, elbows, and jaws. Also, there could be difficulties in breathing, nauseous feelings, and dizziness.

Cardiovascular risk assessment includes a set of tests and health conditions that could indicate a possibility of having a heart attack, stroke, or any other cardiovascular disease. It will help you know the severity level of the disease. It could be borderline, immediate, or high risk. Treatment of cardiovascular diseases may include surgeries and medication and healthy habits. In order to prevent cardiovascular diseases, you need to make sure you follow a healthy lifestyle. Make it a habit to do exercises regularly. Have a healthy meal pattern, including many fruits, vegetables, and whole foods rich in fibre. Drink plenty of water that is purified. Also, create a pleasant environment around you and try to avoid stress and tension.
