PureHydro’s Contribution to Water Purification Across Sri Lanka

Clean water is a limited resource in the world. People all around the world face hardships on a daily basis to find clean water. Due to water pollution, we can no more utilize water without purifying. Waterways are being polluted with solid wastes from households and industrial wastes. Due to the consumption of unclean water, people are prone to several water-borne diseases. It is the duty of every human being to take steps to conserve the environment and water resources in order to create a sustainable environment for all living beings.
Half of the population in Sri Lanka has no access to clean water. At PureHydro, we focus on providing better water treatment strategies to make pure water available for consumption and other purposes. The impact of PureHydro is to make pure water accessible for all Sri Lankans. We are exploring new solutions and setting up new projects to make an impact on the lives of people by empowering them with access to safe drinking water. Our mission is to make pure water available for every Sri Lankan. PureHydro aims to empower people by offering our best water treatment solutions, expanding our services from homes to communities at large according to the need, and breaking down the barriers to having safe water for everyone. We are dedicated to generating an impact through innovations and connections and reach from every city to every village to expand the access to safe water to one and all.
We have reached out to the community through so many successful water filter projects. Two hundred schools and 2223 institutes have benefited from different water purifier installations. Sixteen hospitals and 3565 households are also using PureHydro to filter well water, tap water, and tap water. Our water purifiers are equipped with multiple purifying technologies such as RO, UV, UF, sediments and carbon to provide water that is completely free from chemical and biological impurities. We believe providing safe water is the way to break the cycle of poverty, protect and save lives and make a bright future possible for all. The impact of PureHydro is reflected in creating affordable options for all Sri Lankans to make it easier to have access to clean water.

This badly affected sanitation and hygiene of the patients and they were at the risk of developing water-related diseases.

Pudumathalan Central College Water Filter Project

Pudumanthalan Central college is situated in the Nothern province of Sri Lanka. It is a prominent school, but they struggle to find pure water for basic needs. The daily teaching-learning process was interrupted due to a lack of water in the school premises. It also badly affected the sanitization and hygiene of the students, where they were even prone to water-borne illnesses. PureHydro came up with a solution to make clean water available for Pudumathalan Central College. A water purification system was brought up using the PureHydro Blue Wave water filter for the school.

Mallavi Mayil Vahanam School Water Purification Project

Mallavi Mayil Vahanam was another school that was in need of a better water treatment solution. Students and teachers had to suffer due to a lack of clean water. The school management was highly worried about the sanitization and hygiene of the students since they were at risk of developing waterborne diseases. Even everyday educational activities got disrupted during school hours when they had to go out to collect clean water. During this unfortunate situation, PureHydro was able to provide them with a purification system to overcome the challenging situation. Mallavi Mayil Vahanam School,Water Filter project was done with the installation of SMN 800 water filter.

Rajamaha Viharaya Water Filter Project

Dutuwewa Peranigama Gamini Rajamaha viharaya is located in Anuradhapura. At this temple, obtaining pure water has been a struggle throughout. It was an interruption for daily activities at the temple for the priests and the villagers. They had to face difficulties in finding pure water for daily consumption and other usages. The water they had in the temple premises was not clean enough for these purposes. PureHydro came up with a better water treatment solution for Dutuwewa Peranigama Gamini Rajamaha Viharaya. With the Blue Wave water filter installation, people and the priest could happily get back to their rituals and activities in a much better way.
